Microdermabration or skin resurfacing is a technique for removing the topmost layer of the skin leaving it supple and vibrant. In our center we have the DiamondTome Wand system that is crystal-free and gently removes this layer of skin by exfoliating with natural diamond chops, while at the same time is vacuuming the dead skin cells away in a sterile and controlled manner. Removing this outer layer of dead skin cells leaves a smother texture and promotes the growth of healthy new skin cells.

 

Resurfacing using a DiamondTome Wand is similar to any other microdermabration and chemical peels in its results but without the adverse effects of chemicals or loose particles, irritation and skin reaction.

 

This treatment is a wonderful alternative to laser or chemical peels because it is non-invasive, non-surgical and requires no down time after treatment. Normal activities may be resumed immediately. Your skin will have a radiant glow; most of the patients experience softer, smoother and cleaner skin after the first treatment.

 

Treatment series vary from five to ten sessions depending on the condition being treated and the type of skin. It is recommended for:

How much discomfort will I experience?

The treatments are painless yet effective.

How many sessions do I need for acne scars?

We recommend a series of 6 to 10 treatments to achieve your objective, same for wrinkles & hyperpigmentation problems. Every case should be evaluated individually. 
 

How will I look after the treatment?

Your skin will look slightly flushed immediately after the treatment but you should return to normal in 10-30 minutes. Your skin will look and feel smoother even after the first treatment and will continue to improve with additional treatments.
